Welcome to Fitness Challenge App ("DARE," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

DARE is a fitness challenge platform that allows users to:

• Challenge friends to fitness competitions (bench press, squat, deadlift, etc.)
• Track and verify workout achievements
• Compete for bragging rights and social recognition
• Connect with other fitness enthusiasts
• Access fitness-related content and features

Our Service is currently in development with an anticipated launch in Fall 2025. Early access users can sign up to receive notifications and priority access.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account by providing:

• A valid email address
• A gym name (display name)
• Your training level
• Any additional information we may reasonably request

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Promptly updating your account information when it changes
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Uses

You agree to use our Service responsibly and not to:

• Engage in unsafe behavior: Attempt lifts beyond your ability or without proper safety measures
• Harass or bully: Engage in harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior toward other users
• Cheat or misrepresent: Falsify challenge results, weights, or achievements
• Spam or abuse: Send unsolicited messages or abuse the challenge system
• Violate laws: Use the Service for any illegal activities
• Harm the platform: Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage our Service
• Infringe rights: Violate intellectual property or other rights of others
• Impersonate others: Create fake accounts or impersonate other users
• Share inappropriate content: Post offensive, harmful, or inappropriate material

5. Fitness Challenges and Competition Rules

When participating in fitness challenges through our Service:

1. Safety First: Only attempt exercises you can safely perform
2. Honesty Required: Report accurate weights, reps, and results
3. Verification: We may implement verification systems for challenge results
4. Disputes: Challenge disputes will be resolved according to our dispute resolution process
5. Time Limits: Challenges must be completed within specified time frames
6. Sportsmanship: Maintain respectful behavior toward all participants

Our Content: All content on our Service, including text, graphics, logos, software, and design, is owned by DARE or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, videos, messages, etc.), but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with our Service.

Prohibited Content: You may not submit content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material
• Violates privacy rights of others
• Contains false or misleading information

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, DARE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of profits.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DARE and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of our Service
• Your participation in fitness challenges
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of others
• Any content you submit or share

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Service at any time, with or without cause, including if you violate these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
• We may delete your account and associated data
• Certain provisions of these Terms will survive termination

11. Updates to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue our Service at any time
• Update these Terms as needed (we'll notify you of significant changes)
• Add or remove features from our Service

Continued use of our Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
